Every test tells a tale

Behind every Wisdom Panel DNA test is a story. From long-lost siblings reuniting to genetic insights that shape care, our pet parent community continues to show us just how powerful DNA insights can be. Here are a few of their incredible stories.
A cavapoochon sprocker lying down

Bella was in rough shape when she was picked up as a stray. Not only did she find a forever home, a Wisdom Panel DNA test revealed a fun breed mix (can you say cavapoochon sprocker?!) and enabled her family to contact her biological sister's pet parent so they could compare stories.

A Saluki/Australian Cattle Dog mix

Frederick’s pet parents never would have guessed he was a Saluki/Australian Cattle Dog mix, but his looks and behaviour made so much more sense when they saw his breed report. But that wasn’t the only interesting discovery. They also learned Frederick fathered a litter when he was just a teen. Now, his pet parents are doing DNA tests on their other dogs with the hope of uncovering their relatives, too.

A Staffordshire Terrier mix

Cubby’s pet parents suspected he was a Staffordshire Terrier mix, but his long hair was throwing them off. A Wisdom Panel DNA test revealed he had a small percentage of Saint Bernard, which made Cubby’s looks (and some personality traits, too) make a lot more sense.
